There are ways in improving and learning English Proficiency.  You acquire a certain level of English Proficiency instead of acquiring English skills. The latter is focused on measured execution of grammatically-based language use. While Proficiency is the holistic understanding about the English language, cultural implications, usage of expressions and terminologies, its functions within specific utterances for a given setting.

Vocabulary Development and Familiarization:
Read materials that were written in English such as websites, blogs, articles, books, newspapers, journals, magazines and English dictionary with diacritical marks. In a formal environment, majority of people try to use the formal sounds of English vowels and consonants, however certain regions cannot be avoided due to regional accents.
