Real Estate: This Home Is Calling For You “When You Are Looking for a New Home After Retirement”

This beautiful home is calling for you if you are actively looking for a home at new location like within the City of Bellingham.

I love the given ‘tip’ regarding Pre-inspection Report as this document tells you what you are buying with your money. This is actually a great technique by the current home owner/seller to make sure the new owner will be comfortable in living at their new home without worrying whether the roof will be replaced soon or fixing the fence or the deck upon arrival. Please click on the link on the image below for a virtual tour.

If I am the ‘Home Buyer’ I will not miss this opportunity of a well-maintained home, plus it is a one-level home that I love. I always enjoy living in my one story home as everything is accessible from one point to another. Unlike the multi-level homes that you will go up and down the stairs when you need something. For anyone who may be thinking of retiring in the near future, this type of home will be an advantage. Or for someone who is an ’empty-nester’ as kids are gone to college or have their own home, this will be an equally comfortable to enjoy living in style. It will be also be a great home for new couple and or small family as this home has the amenities that every family will enjoy. Dang, I wish I am the Real Estate Broker for this … ha ha ha (wishful thinking that was.) I am grateful to share the information to others. This is what #socialmediacircle is all about.

Why should I look for quality home when buying a residence? For sure, the first consideration is the peace of mind and not much work to be done upon arrival of settling-in.  Of course, there is an argument of buying a newly built house in a new development or buying a well maintained home that already exist in a desirable neighborhood that is well equipped; within the beautiful environment, spectacular views, neighborhood, residents, natural and shopping amenities.

Personal preferences exist regardless of motivation. However, when one make a decision for a long term abode that is influenced with personal convenience and circumstances. Big consideration is location, location, location. These three words’ #realestate motto will come with a $Price Tag; oftentimes not accessible to everyone. There are opportunities for everyone regardless of likes and dislikes.

This home is one of its rarity, plus it…

Montreal Pride 2017 and the First Canada Pride: PHOTOS

Happy Pride 2017 Montreal! More Power to All LGBTI communities in Canada and around the world.

Vee Travels

After nearly two weeks of celebrating Canada’s LGBT movement and the community in Montreal during its annual Pride festivities, hundreds of thousands gathered for the Fierté Montréal (aka Montréal Pride) parade on Sunday where 270 different groups marched. Among those marching were Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the openly gay Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, which was historic as it was the first time a foreign head of state was participating in a Canadian pride parade.

This year’s celebrations were quite special for it not only being Fierté Montréal’s tenth anniversary, but also Montréal’s 375th and Canada’s 150th. These two milestones for the city and nation also brought on a new concept for the nation, a Canada Pride, and it made sense for Montréal to hose the first edition. Canada Pride will occur every four years across different places in the country.

Enjoy more photos from Fierté Montréal below, plus more about…

Cocktails Usher Great Evenings and Conversations

Are you creative and passionate? Great cocktails are reflections of creative minds and passion. I love and enjoy creating cocktails for friends, family and guests.

The Best Acumen While Cooking Is Having Sensitive Taste Buds Not Only Looks and Condiments

Pete Earthlé, IdeasNConversations @IdeasN

Depth of tastes and levels of aroma are the primary features of delicious foods. Cooks who can demonstrate the acumen of using their sensitive taste buds will surely attract attention and appreciation from individuals who ate what were cooked.

Looks and condiments add quality in the art of presentation. But the most emphasis of quality food is the taste in order to be called ‘delicious’.

Customizing the taste of your food when cooking is a result of creative integration of various foods that were gleaned from various cultures.

The MJs Pad Thai is a result of creative cooking. We mixed some cultural foods, locally grown vegetables and poultry to make it personal that fit to our required taste and depth of quality.  Examples are; Vietnamese noodles, Mexican Cilantro, organic egg from a free range chicken, organic chicken, locally grown non-GMO onions, green onions and carrots and others.

The trick of cooking delicious food is by understanding what you like to accomplish, learning what are the local materials that you can use, take a risk of experimenting, adjust the levels and depth of tastes. Your cooking is successful when someone tells you ‘the food is delicious with a smile and heartfelt gratitude’.

Enjoy the Yummy Coconut Cake For Easter Instead

Pete Earthlé, IdeasNConversations @IdeasN

Traditionally, there are many cakes that are made for Easter Celebrations. In my household, we are not traditionalist. We always explore other options that will give us a different experience that is culturally fit to our liking instead of ‘Easter eggs’.

During our Easter Celebration, we baked a ‘Coconut Cake’ that will be yummy and extraordinaire.

Are you making a different style during Easter?

Experience Great Tastes, Depth and Looks; Not from Boring and Bland-looking Caesar Salad

Pete Earthlé, IdeasNConversations @IdeasN

When you have friends visiting, do not serve the boring salad types that are sold any where else. Create some styles that are experientiable with great tastes, depth and looks. And they will be talking about you everywhere when they meet other friends.

We explored this cuisine over three years ago, we had guests that we never dined before. So we thought of being creative and show some styles and sophistication in regards to presentation and levels of tastes, ambiance and table wares in order to experience and witness their reaction. Bingo, we successfully created a wonderful experience. We heard from other friends that we knew and they were talking about it.

Today, I am sharing this with you as another inspiration for your creative mind. Be artistic in blending two or more cultural cuisines just like this “Shrimp Caesar Salad”.

As an option, instead of using croutons you can use a rice cracker. This is particularly attractive to those with dietary restrictions with croutons.

While in some cultures around the globe are observing the ‘Passover week‘ or its equivalent. This ‘Shrimp Caesar Salad’ can be great for anyone who will avoid some type of meats.

A Return to Eating Well, Eating Locally in Western New York

Eating well, exercise and eat organic, natural produce from the farms are always the best for healthy body!

The Daily Sampler

It’s officially been too long since we’ve talked food. Unfortunately, food has taken a back seat in my life, but not even in a good, “oops I forgot to eat,” way. More like a, “there’s no time, we don’t have an easily usable kitchen, look- there’s an Arby’s” way. Okay, I’m not going to lie to you. We missed Arby’s all year, so I didn’t mind it all that much. Don’t hate. But after a day mostly filled with junk, it’s crazy how fast I mentally and physically feel like junk. It’s not even fun.

We were in a great routine for a while, one of the few positives of our Halifax experience. We were cooking pretty much every night, and still eating better than we would have at any restaurant in that town. Both of us lost weight, and were generally feeling better about things. Now, that’s all I…

Same Sex Marriage Equality is a Recognition of Loving & Caring Relationships Among Individuals

The US Supreme Court has issued its ruling on two controversial issues that divided Americans for many years.

In June 26, 2013, the American LGBT Citizens gained equal respect, rights and privileges to their counterparts in the American Society within the Federal Level of government.   The Supreme Court Judges removed the second class classification that was provided to the LGBT Citizens and recognized all Same-Sex Marriages in all states that allowed marriages, as equal to their counterparts among heterosexuals.

“This ruling is a victory for couples who have long fought for equal treatment under the law; for children whose parents’ marriages will now be recognized, rightly, as legitimate; for families that, at long last, will get the respect and protection they deserve; and for friends and supporters who have wanted nothing more than to see their loved ones treated fairly and have worked hard to persuade their nation to change for the better” – Pres Obama

“DOMA is unconstitutional as a deprivation of the equal liberty of persons that is protected by the Fifth Amendment,” “The federal statue is invalid” wrote Justice Kennedy.

A New York City immigration judge, Barbara Nelson, immediately adjourned Brooks’ deportation hearing after reading the Supreme Court ruling, specifically section 3 of DOMA which recognized only marriages between a man and a woman and granted federal benefits to such marriages. By striking down Section 3, the Supreme Court has allowed same-sex couples to receive more than 1,000 federal benefits and entitlements linked to marriage status.

It’s not just a generation gap that explains the profound shift, pollsters are discovering — even some older Americans are changing their minds about gay marriage, as are citizens in rural areas, from religious backgrounds and in traditionally conservative jurisdictions.

All Five Justices who demonstrated their decision in removing the discriminatory parts of DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) will be remembered in the annals of history. They stood for the people who were being discriminated by such Law, that was signed in 1996 by then President Bill Clinton, of which he recently expressed regret and advocated the Supreme Court’s invalidation.

President Obama and his administration will be appreciated forever by Same-Sex Marriages including their families, friends and communities.

Where do we go from here?

In addition to our rich US History, today it illustrated that we have achieved another significant level of respect and dignity – Marriage Equality. While everyone do not agree to the Supreme Court Ruling, it is important to celebrate the correction of a wrong doing. The most important is the federal recognition of the same-sex marriages that exist within communities, will now have equal treatment with the heterosexual marriages. Same-Sex Spouses are now publicly documented in any legal documentations for both federal and state (where same-sex marriage is allowed) governments.

“So we welcome today’s decision, and I’ve directed the Attorney General to work with other members of my Cabinet to review all relevant federal statutes to ensure this decision, including its implications for Federal benefits and obligations, is implemented swiftly and smoothly.” – President Obama

A Salute to Everyone involved, who participated hard in this discrimination fight. Prayers to the souls of those who were discriminated, lost their lives and did not see today’s invalidation of DOMA.

Community Immersion / Pre-decision Tour Impacts Results of Effective Relocation and Costs

My experiences taught me that this type of activity is very essential to validate how I felt at my next home town. Absolutely a great service for those who like to become familiar with the quality of life that they will have in the future.

Your employer will pay for this service especially when they like you to become successful at your new home assignment. There is nothing more important to high performing employer than your success in job responsibilities, cultural adjustment and ROI of their investment to your expatriate status.

Pre-decision tour and community immersion works well when you are one of those successful expats or families that will enjoy the experience and amenities of the new home environment.

Problem Solver to the many Puzzles pertaining to your immigration, relocation, home search and destination support

It is always a great feeling when you have someone you can trust.  That someone can facilitate  the solutions of all confusing issues that will relate to relocation, immigration and particularly when you are starting a new life in a new country. Oftentimes, you feel as if you are in solitude when no one can point you to specific cultural needs that will make you feel comfortable.

This support from ReloNavigator is an essential piece including other services they provide. I will call ReloNavigator when I will relocate again to another city or country.

Sceneries, People and the Amenities

Working with people, understanding their emotions, and interact with them civilly and with common sense will facilitate peace, understanding and love with one another!

Enjoying TheMoments

Bellingham is a city that offers many amenities to various types of individuals, couples and families. It is a sound destination of those who like to enjoy living in a well balanced life-style with lower stress and pressures. Things that you enjoy outdoors unlike in a city life.

I enjoy the many panoramas of Bellingham, friendly people, and yes the people who work in many businesses in Bellingham knows how to execute real Customer Service deeds with a smile. People in other cities and states must come and learn those traits of a lifetime from Bellingham.

There is nothing boring about Bellingham ~
